Good Day Shop isn’t just a place to buy things, it’s a way to shop. A way to connect deeply with the objects that fill our homes, the people behind them and the communities around us. We believe meaningful spaces are built slowly, layer by layer, piece by piece, over a lifetime.

For us, that lifetime began as a creative studio, helping professional makers build their businesses. But our makers needed more than just tools and support, they needed their people and a place to be seen and celebrated. 

From that realization grew the roots of what was destined to become Good Day Shop: 

Good Day Market: A makers market that grew from a small brewery pop-up into a vibrant Midwest event, filling the halls of Garver Feed Mill. 

Good Day Collective: A three-month pop-up collaboration in downtown Madison that foreshadowed our love for running a shop. 

These experiences sparked a new desire for curating beautiful goods, fostering relationships with their makers, and sharing their stories in a space that felt warm, welcoming, and distinctly human. 

Because at its core, retail is about people–the things we create and the spaces we share.

Today, Good Day Shop is where good makers, good neighbors and good moments meet. In 2019, we made a home on Madison's near west side

We stock our shelves with the work of local and independent brands, paying special attention to the stories, voices and practices behind each piece. 

From everyday essentials to bespoke gifts, we’re here to help you shop thoughtfully. All while savoring the beauty of the longer, slower, more meaningful path.
