Perfumer's Note: "Early in my learning perfumery, I had never smelled ambergris, only read descriptions and histories. I dreamed of ambergris in the middle of a desert, the site of an ancient ocean that had since receded. Baking in the sun so long it had turned partially to opal. Glinting in the light, changing color with the fits of the wind. When I eventually smelled ambergris and experienced its effect, I was only even more enamored. Strange Dreamer became the vessel for all of the animalics and musks I love and find so mysterious. Their presence is not only in scent but in effect, a blurring of their animalic musk and your own, a movement and depth that comes alive on skin. Not a booming scent but a transformation of skin radiance, something entirely your own."
